Ascension Health
Consistent with its mission to serve all people with special attention to those who are poor and vulnerable, Ascension Health is an innovative leader in transforming healthcare through patient-centered, holistic care of the highest clinical quality, and provided $868 million in care of persons who are poor and community benefit last year. Ascension Health is the nation’s largest Catholic and nonprofit health system, with more than 113,000 associates serving in more than 500 locations in 19 states and the District of Columbia.

Catholic Health East
Catholic Health East is a multi-institutional Catholic health system, which is co-sponsored by nine religious congregations, and Hope Ministries, a Public Juridic Person within Catholic Health East. Based in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania, the System provides the means to ensure the continuation of the Catholic identity and operational strength of the sponsors' health ministries, which are located within 11 eastern states from Maine to Florida. The System includes 34 acute care hospitals, four long term acute care hospitals, 25 freestanding and hospital-based long term care facilities, 14 assisted living facilities, four continuing care retirement communities, eight behavioral health and rehabilitation facilities, 32 home health/hospice agencies, and numerous ambulatory and community-based health services. Catholic Health East facilities employ approximately 54,000 full-time employees as partners in ministry. Catholic Health East is the largest provider of home health care services (ranked by number of visits) in the nation.

Catholic Health Initiatives
Catholic Health Initiatives is a national non-profit health organization with headquarters in Denver, Colorado. The health system includes 75 hospitals; 40 long-term care, assisted and independent living and residential facilities; and two community-based health organizations located in 19 states. Together, these facilities provided $553 million in charity care and community benefit in the 2009 fiscal year, including services for the poor, free clinics, education and research. With annual revenues of $8.6 billion, the health system ranks as the nation's second-largest Catholic health care system. Catholic Health Initiatives thrives on its vision of Catholic health care as a vibrant ministry, ready to provide compassionate care of the body, mind and spirit through the 21st century and beyond.

Catholic Healthcare West
Catholic Healthcare West, headquartered in San Francisco, Calif., is a system of 41 hospitals and medical centers in California, Arizona and Nevada. Founded in 1986, Catholic Healthcare West is one of the nation’s largest not-for-profit health care systems and the largest private hospital system in California. The health system is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality, affordable health care services with special attention to the poor and underserved. The Catholic Healthcare West network of nearly 10,000 physicians and approximately 54,000 employees provides health care services to more than five million people annually. In 2009, Catholic Healthcare West provided nearly $1.2 billion in charity care, community benefit, and unreimbursed patient care.
